We all know that house cleaning is not the most glamorous of occasions and if you are anything like me, your cleaning caddy is looking a little out of line with your good intentions and romantic ideas of a tidy, stylish collection ready and raring for use!  But I wonder, like changing up your exercise routine, does swapping your cleaning products, containers and tools to alternatives you actually like make it less of a chore?  And do such ‘stylish cleaning’ products really exist??

Well, after trawling through local merchants and hardware stores for an upcoming Spring clean shoot, I am happy to report that there are in fact some really cute ranges of vintage and classic pharmaceutical inspired pieces to help keep alive those dreams of a stylish laundry shelf  – and they definitely make me more motivated to dust away Winter’s cobwebs…

1. Goats hair duster, $60, available from Plane Tree Farm, Subiaco and Cottesloe (so amazingly soft!)
2. Murchison Hulme ‘Everyday Furniture Spritz’, $12.95, from Domayne
3. Murchison Hulme timber cleaning caddy, $12.95, from Domayne
4. Redecker Hedgehog blind brush, $25.95 available at Corner Store
